In addition to being high quality everyday soaps the fifoam soaps are uniquely sustainable because they are made using resources recovered from waste. Insects (the Black Soldier Fly) are farmed using organic waste that would normally be sent to landfill. The insects are able to convert the waste into protein and oil. The protein is a valuable ingredient in stock feed, especially for chickens and fish. The oil can also be used for stock feed but has additional benefits because it makes a very gentle, moisturizing soap.
